Rear Wiper Woes

My rear wiper suddenly stopped moving today. It had not been acting like it was meeting with any resistance or lack of lubrication. It just stopped.

I can still here a clicking sound from the area consistent with the change in direction that the wiper would make. I also see the "door ajar" light on the dashboard illuminating at about half intensity with the same interval as the clicking.

I can't move the wiper arm by hand. It seems to be stuck hard.

I'm most curious about the current path that is allowing this issue to draw current through the "door ajar" indicator.
