Rear wiper sucks

I finally got around to changing my rear wiper blade and realized the tension of the arm is pretty pathetic. The blade was streaking pretty badly in the middle with a no contact area of about 2 inches wide. Any ideas for applying more force to the blade? I saw someone did this but its way too ghetto . I was thinking maybe some weighted tape? Magnets maybe? new spring?

go with the rear wiper delete and be done with it...

Maybe you could get a guitar tremolo spring to work. I'd have to see the underside.

OOoo, yea that could work, i think my friend has some i'll try it out. I found that if i push with VERY little force about midway up the arm i get full blade contact.
