My rear wiper arm doesn't work. It just swings freely. I can hear the motor kick on, but nothing. I popped the trim off the bottom of the hatch to investigate. It appears the motor isn't connected to that gear housing or whatever it is. Anybody have this problem? Can it be fixed? The motor's still working, so I can buy the housing seperate, right? Also, when I popped the trim out, all but two of the little plastic holders broke. Where can I pick up some of those?

well does it have a bolt missing or something? If it is broke see if you can have it welded or get a used linkage assembly. You have a pic?

when i first bought my 240 i had the same problem, turned out that the bolt holding the arm to the motor was loose. I tightened it up and it was fine

Thanks. I'll have to check that tomorrow. Anybody know where to find the fasteners for the trim?

Yeah, mine did the same.. On the arm itself the end flips open (Up toward the blade) There is a bolt (was it 10mm? Probably most everthing is..) It'll just spin over the arm if its not tight. Should fix you up. Lowes has a pretty good selection of fasteners, ****toZone has some in the little red "HELP!" packages...

It was indeed the nut under the lil' plastic cover. For future referance, it's a 12 mm.
