Hi everyone,

I'm trying to replace the rear wiper arm on my gf's '08 Rogue, as the topic suggests. The nut is rusted in place rather badly, and I'm concerned that I'm going to break the electric motor by turning hard enough to break the nut loose.

Anyone had this experience? Did you break the wiper motor, or not?

So far, I'm going with penetrating oil and waiting. No luck yet.

Soak it with penetrating oil 3-4 days and the very gently start wiggling it back and forth with a wrench. Tighten, loosen, back and forth. Don’t play hulk just tighten, loosen.
