Rear windshield wipers are screwy.

As i turn my rear windshield wipers on.. they move about an inch, and then die.. Im assuming my motors are shot.. am i correct?

i think the motor amplifier is going bad

mine does the same thing, it starts fast, then slows down the longer i have it untill it takes like a minute for it to go up and down

try disconnecting the wiper arm from the linkage. that removes most of the load from the motor. then turn it on. if it works better then the motor is prob worn. if not, it is prob in the control circuit(like the wiper amp).
