Alrite, So if anyone out there has subs in the back, do you find that the wiper vibrates like crazy?

Does anyone know of any mod I could do to reduce the vibration?

When I first installed my sub, my wiper would vibrate like crazy. I then took off the panels of the hatch, added 2 layers of RAAMmat BTX (butyl mat), 1 layer of 1/4" closed cell foam coupled with 1/4" of vinyl, and then filled the entire open space with expanding foam (Great Stuff from home depot). The trunk is basically like a brick now and doesn't move even at the max volume.

So far, I've added 60sqft of butyl mat, 50 lbs of closed cell foam coupled with vinyl (2lbs/ft^2), 3 yards of ensolite (1/8" closed cell foam mainly for vibration dampening between the panel and door), and have filled all the spaces (above rear wheel wells and trunk hatch) with expanding foam.

To the hatch alone? Or altogether? Altogether - I know for a fact I've added 47.5lbs of closed cell foam + vinyl. I believe the raammat was around 30lbs or maybe more/less. The ensolite was very light, a few pounds. The expanding foam is also very lightweight - I would guess a few pounds total at most.

In the future, I plan to add more closed cell foam coupled with vinyl - I've only done the back half of the car with it so far. It really kills road noise like no other (vinyl is a great barrier - especially coupled with a layer of closed cell foam below it).
