Rear windshield wiper...... O.o Invisible

Okay so i have a 1989 S13: why does it not have a wiper on the hatch.

I mean it has the controls for it. I can even squirt the wiper fluid on the glass on the hatch.....yet there is no wiper.....am i missing something?
Did 89's come with them but someone removed mine. Or maybe its invisible.

Sounds like it has been removed, probably to fix rust on the hatch, is the spoiler and third brake light still on the hatch?

as for the OP, someone probably just removed it and patched the hole where it used to be. its not that you can't find it.

since you don't have a rear wiper anymore, you should rig the wiper fluid nozzle to spray backwards a good 5-6 feet to mess with tailgaters.

i actually built an air cannon that is supposed to look like a tailpipe (pretty much just a piece of steel tubing with one end open and the other end running to an air tank/compressor hidden in the trunk through a high pressure hose). it can shoot anything about the size of a water bottle a good 30 feet. i never actually installed it in my DD but it works really well hand held =]. i rigged it with a switch too.

or you could just throw pennies. i do that a lot.

hmmm i wonder if this would be more cost effective than throwing pennies... how much does one BB go for? and it would have to be the metal ones (copper or steel,etc. kuz i shoot to do damage)
