from what I've heard it's a dealer only part right now. You have to replace the entire arm, not just the blade. There's a cap at the end coving a bolt to take off to replace the thing. There's a couple places on-line that sell dealer parts where you may be able to find it cheaper than your local dealers asking price.

No, you don't have to replace the whole arm, the rear wiper blade is 14 inches long. I replaced mine already, cost @ dealer $10.50. look below how you change it. You can even buy that blade at any auto parts store, too! Just cut it to size. So spending $36.00 on a whole arm is unnecessary!

Pull back as shown below, it will come out....

Do you think you could put either a 13 inch or a 15 inch wiper blade on the back??? 14inch is impossible to come by, and can you do it yourself? By this I mean do you have to disassemble the OEM wiper arm and then take a part the new wiper blade or does it just snap or slide together like the front wipers???

You don't have to remove the whole arm from the car. Cut the new wiper blades (rubber) to fit in the wiper arm assembly. That's it..... But you can't put a blade that is longer than 14", nor shorter than that. If you can perform that miracle, let us know!

... That's too much effort. Sorry, but I'll spend the $3 at the dealership for the wiper insert. Am I the only one getting a decent price on stuff like that? Holy Moly...

Does anyone know the part number for just the wiper rubber insert? I have tried aftermarket rubber inserts from Anco (rubber to skinny) and Pylon (rubber wont hold the metal beams) and they don't fit as good as the original blade. I am going to try Michelin plain blades from Wal-Mart to see if that fits better.

Hi Matt,

someone ripped or broke off rear wiper arm two days after buying my nice white versa! I finally bought a new arm, and attempted to replace it.I thought it would be simple, lift a latch and unscrew the bolt, but it does not want to remove. Am i doing this correctly? Have I forgotten something? When I pull after removing the bolt, the plastic washer on the rear windows want to come with the whole arm. Before I pull harder and risk braking anything more, should I need to remove, or do someting else?thanks for your comments.
