rear windowns tapping/rattling/noise

i have an 05 g35 sedan. ever since ive had the car, both rear windows make a tapping, squeaking noise and it drives me crazy. ive heard its caused by deterioration of the window seals. the noise happens when the windows are up. sometimes neither windows do it, sometimes both, sometimes just one. does anyone know to to fix it diy or do i have to take it to the dealer?

have you had someone ride in the back to validate it's the windows? If so, what happens if they put pressure on the windows, the rattle go away?

no but i know it doesnt happen when theyre down which makes me think that whatever seals it on the top of the frame is bad or even missing

having someone back there moving things around can help pinpoint the location at least. maybe you just need to adjust something? The only thing I hear in our sedan is the seatbelt tapping if it's not fully retracted.

hm okay. well the back driver side one was doing it this morning and my little brother pushed on it and it stopped for the rest ofthe drive
