I got a 2024 PF SL a few weeks ago, and the rear window washing fluid comes out of the nozzle as a fast stream instead of a misty spray. The stream generally runs down and off the window before the wiper arm even activates. I assume it's not supposed to be this way.

On my '23 Rogue, the rear nozzle sprays a mist. Shouldn't the Pathfinder spray like the Rogue does on the rear window?

If anyone else has experienced this, was there a way for you to adjust (or maybe unclog) the rear nozzle? Or do I have to take it to the dealership?

It must be a Pathfinder thing. The rear spray nozzle has two solid stream type nozzles on my '02 PF and the front two windshield nozzles have three solid stream types. The '23 Rogue has a fan spray type nozzle at the rear. I have looked into replacing my nozzles with fan types but have never gotten around to it. I don't care for the way these solid stream nozzles work. Same issue on the rear, and the front is not much better. The images below are the Pathfinder and Rogue rear nozzles. You can see the difference in what the fan spray and solid stream nozzles look like. (Poor image quality on the Rogue part but it's all I could find.)

Here's a better image of a fan spray type. (not Nissan)

Thanks. My wife's Rogue has the streams on front, but mist on back. My PF has mist in front, so I assumed the rear would be mist too. Especially since the rear stream rolls off the window before the wiper arm can activate.

I'm guessing because the rear window gets more gunk kicked up, the Pathfinder folks figured that a heavier stream would be better to wash it away.
