Wow,The American Dream at work!

with that said - and I wish him the best of luck - he's a little pricey. I think I paid 125-175 for mine......just can't find the info to post...

Are there any other benefits than looks such as aerodynamics......?

Either way this is not my cup of tea. I prefer the FGY33 rear spoiler with a front spoiler of some sort under the front bumper. Hell I might sound crazy but I would love to get some undercarriage plating to improve aerodynamics.

If you install one on a vehicle that already has a trunk spoiler, do you get TWICE as spoiled?

this is mainly for the g50 guys, as not much is available state side. and would have very little affect on aerodynamics.

on a side note, i wish certain people didnt show such an opinion to the point that we had to split the forum. maybe this is a vip thread, but it shouldnt be. is about clean style, and we should be one happy family.

i just bought this, and the audi forums are so much more grown up. oh well, merry x-mas!

I was kidding when I said if there are any other benefits other than looks. But I think you can only have one spoiler on a car for a cleaner look. But I wouldn't mind a Photoshop (Paint.net) of a 1990-1993 Q45 with a FGY33 spoiler and this spoiler.

How is everything else coming along with your Q?

im ditching the angel eyes, and am just going to put it back together, paint it and enjoy it. its been 3 yrs off the road, and the only thing holding it up is the large amount of work involved in modding the headlights to fit my analitity! as soon as my brothers done with his project(his second on going project) ill have my half of the garage back, and ill start putting it all back together. this audi is nice but it has nothing on the Q as far as acceleration, well stock 1.8t any way. but its a nice everyday driver/comuter, and with a few grand of direct bolt ons, it can achive 450 hp and get decent gas milage, reliably! i picked it up saturday, and spend about 500 bucks in add ons already! escalade, Q45 and and audi. i guess im just a glutton for punishment!

I think the roof spoilers do look kinda cool, not that I would spend the money on it... but, they probably serve some sort of purpose like helping to keep the rear window clean.

That's what I was thinking.

My big question would be whether it would interfere with the function of the stock spoiler as far as aerodynamics go.

They do look good, especially on that A4, which being a small car has a kind of sharp C-pillar that is definitely helped by the accent of the window spoiler.

On the subject of the Audi, I've always liked the way Audis' bumpers roll back under the car so cleanly. Most other cars just leave a sort of edge or opening, which is much less attractive.

Imagine thatthis poster noticed that there is an attitude problem on this forum compared to other forums!!

(hummm twice in less than 12 hours on same forum)

I remember several years ago whe the first noob asked about a rear window spoiler.....the usual "single track" posters jumped in and beat the crap out of him....this poster hid behind a couch!

I'm sure that the mods dont even notice.......

my rear lip is a little smaller and has a little curve in it......I think i prefer yours

its fitting though. it gives that dark shadow line that breaks apart the roof line and defines the rear.
