Rear windows ride in what looks to be a 1 1/2" x1 1/2" hard plastic guide. Both guides are broken so the power windows bind when being raised and don't fit into the convertible top track properly. They don't look like they would be hard to replace if I knew where to find them. The Nissan dealer says the part is no longer available from Nissan. Wife won't drive car with top down because she can't get it up with this problem. Car is original equipment, (except radio) with 124K miles 1992 Convertible. Anyone have suggestions or sources for this part.

Welcome to NICO!

I moved this to the Vert Forum. We have much more knowledgable people in here than other parts of the boards when it comes to vert specific things.

As far as the regulator guides go, we have a few threads on fabbing up our own because Nissan decided at some point that they weren't going to carry the parts, and ASC doesn't like to respond to individual customers.

The FAQ thread at the top of the page should have a few useful links, and if you do a search of the 240SX Convertible forum, you should be able to pull up a few things as well.

Welcome to NICO! I'm in Raleigh. Post pics of your vert as soon as possible and put your car in the registry.

As Hijacker said that's a common problem and one everyone will eventually face. Mine still work fine but I'm sure it's only matter of time. If anyone fabs an easy solution they could sell them to everyone in this forum.

Good luck and let me know if I can help.
