Rear window ghost.

My son who has our 93 J30 at school (100+ miles away). He said the passenger side window in the rear will go up by itself and about every 10 seconds keep "turning on" even with the car off. I had to try to teach a totally non car person to find the fuse box and fuse (non electrical person also) over the phone. Only after an hour and a half (and a skunk sneaking up on him while under the dash). he was able to pull the fuse and stop the window. When he would press the down button on the drivers or on the door itself it would go right up again. I think he said if his door was open it wouldn't do it but I can't confirm that. He did call and say the cd palyer is doing something weird but no details yet. Any ideas?

The CD players in these cars "give up the ghost" randomly.

Is there a short in the power window motor? I've seen that cause what your talking about in the past.

Thanks driver. I thought so. It was weird that there's 3 fuses for windows. Trying to diagnose long distance stinks. The shop manual was not as much help as I thought.
