The idiot that had the car before me tinted the windows and decided to remove it messing up most of the defroster lines. I noticed that the metal tabs is missing on the driver side (lower) and totally off the glass (upper). The rear window gets foggy in the mornings but I am somehow able to defrost it once the heater is on for 10-15 minutes. My question is...Is it worth trying to repair it or just replace the whole rear glass? It's starting to annoy me whenever I get into the car in the mornings.

From the looks of it, it is scratched up in numerous places. I am just gonna try and bear with it not working. I don't want to dish out the money to replace the back window.

Take a multimeter and check for continuity across those wires. I'm talkin broad to narrow, ie go from sides and narrow down where the damage is. There are repair kits.

Not sure if you have a coupe or hatch but I saw a good rear glass for a couple at pull-apart on N. tryon yesterday.
