LOL, I was going to do some touch up work on the one I am considering selling on the rear quarter and what I thought were a couple paint chips ended up being holes (2) about the size of a 50 cent piece! I have it ground down and have fiberglass patches curing on it now. This winter beat the tar out my verts, much worse then any other they have been through!cmkelly wrote:You threatened to sell one of your verts!
cmkelly - the other old guy.
It is for the sons car that has a newer cheap type top, so I ordered the vinyl.onosqv wrote:if your current top is the softer material (aka clothlike), then choose stayfast. If it's the cheaper vinyl material (doesn't feel soft & cloth like oem), then get the vinyl version.
I prefer the stayfast, the vinyl top looks cheap (I had a dd 240sx convertible w/ a newer vinyl top - didn't like it much).
Thats the one I was looking for Seth, Thanks!!!! Window did not arrive yesterday, so it looks like it will be my project for next weekend.Eikon wrote:Does this thread have the info: check the posts by Adam... about halfway and most of the way down. has-anyone-replaced-their-top-on-their-own-t230855.html
I got it from this guy. I had to message him to get just the window. He sent me an invoice for it, payed through pay pal and all was good.tblazers wrote:can you post the ebay seller link again
