Has anybody ever dealt with this guy?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...123

I would not buy a roof from him as its one of those too inexpensive to be any good things. How ever, I contacted him about a new rear window and his prices are much better then any other I have found.

Quote »Yes, I also provide the window with curtain only. I have Vinyl Curtain with Plastic $70.00 or the Stay Fast Vinyl Curtain with Plastic Window for $85.00[/quote]According to my son, Stay Fast is the way to go. Whats the vert community opinion on all this???

You threatened to sell one of your verts! Seriously, I have no idea about that guy. My back window's in pretty good shape but does have a small scratch on it. So if you do get one let us know about the quality and ease of install.

Hope all is well.

LOL, I was going to do some touch up work on the one I am considering selling on the rear quarter and what I thought were a couple paint chips ended up being holes (2) about the size of a 50 cent piece! I have it ground down and have fiberglass patches curing on it now. This winter beat the tar out my verts, much worse then any other they have been through!

The window is for the sons car, he blew all his money on stereo system and I am a bit pissed, but I can't see allowing weather to get in and ruin car.

if your current top is the softer material (aka clothlike), then choose stayfast. If it's the cheaper vinyl material (doesn't feel soft & cloth like oem), then get the vinyl version.

I prefer the stayfast, the vinyl top looks cheap (I had a dd 240sx convertible w/ a newer vinyl top - didn't like it much).

It is for the sons car that has a newer cheap type top, so I ordered the vinyl.

Isn't there a thread in here on changing the window, or did I see that in the top change thread?

Just look @ the top change thread. The rear window thread here was to replace just the plastic, not the whole rear curtain.

I got it from this guy. I had to message him to get just the window. He sent me an invoice for it, payed through pay pal and all was good.
