Hello,
Im new to the forum and sorry if this post is somewhere else. I need to replace my rear wheel tires on my g35 coupe. Right now I've got 245-45-18 yokohama's and I didn't know if these were good enough to keep or if I needed to get a different pair. The guy at the shop said the Michelin's were the best, I cant remember what tire he said exactly. I've also heard that Bridgestone makes the best tire. Obviously I want performance but a smooth ride is just as important. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Tires are all about trade offs: dry vs wet performance, grip vs wear, etc.

Take a look in the tire forum. You'll find some first hand experiences with a variety of tires to help you make your decision.

And welcome aboard!
