Hey guys,
I'm currently experiencing a weird noise when driving. I'm having a weird ticking noise, progressively got louder for the past 3 months. It isn't the famous rear wheel axle since I jacked the car up, greased the axle as instructed by the TSB and re torqued it. The noise i'm hearing is a reoccurring ticking noise coming from the rear passenger wheel. I can't say if it has a whining/humming noise associated with the bearing failing since the G's tires are so damn loud anyways. The noise sounds like something is tricking/clicking/lightly girding. Almost sounds like metal shavings in the wheel bearing or something. the first time i took it to the dealer they tried to tell me it was the rotor just by listening then i went back and they wanted to charge me some wild a** fees to diagnose it, more than it would cost to buy new bearings and replace em myself anyways.

Any advice? any ways i can diagnose whether or not it's the bearing for sure?

bearings...

jack up the pass-side rear wheel and spin the tire. if you hear it there, then i bet it is the bearings.
