recently i purchased a pair of ichiba hub centric rear spacers and some front ichiba hub centric rears spacers the rear seems to be fine but the front is giving me trouble. when i get to 40-45 mph my steering wheel begins to shake it doesn't swerve to any side just shakes badly. has anyone else had this problem?? if so what are some solutions? Ive already balanced the wheels and had a wheel alignment, and the power steering rack and bearings are good so i am a little stumped...

Same problem awhile back. it my was inner tie rods/outer tie rod ends. jack up one side of the car. And shake the wheel. If there is any play in it, then its bad and needs to be replaced. also this is one side at a time. not just jack up the front but only one side of the front at a time. then check for play.

It might due to them not being completely even with the hub and driving they probably slop around the hub causing the shaking. Only way to find out it out is put different front wheels.

I think the 240 hub is 66.1, so you should be fine, as long as the wheels you have are a 73mm bore.

I had this problem awhile back when I bought spacers for my xxr wheel. The wheels with spacers would shake at upper speeds but stock wheels w/o spacers would ride so smooth as butter. I got some hub rings and it helped a lot. I also installed energy suspension rack bushings and that helped more. Costa Rican is right about the tie rods too though.

You might have some air in your steering rack. Have you tried bleeding it?
