Rear view mirror repair?

Thanks in advance for any advice to mend my 1994 Q45 r-v mirror.

The mirror works fine; however, when ambient temperature > 90 degrees, the mirror slumps downward. Is there some magic sauce to coat its ball joint that will minimize or eliminate this problem?

Might try a search. I remember someone tightened it some how.

Had to pull mine off a couple years ago to tighten it, I know what you mean. Getting hot already here in Phoenix!
