rear view camera

Hi can you help I have a tif monitor with video inputs. I purchased a rear view flush mont camera fitted it out and it works .. BUT the monitor view is all wrong it is the opposite view to what I see in my rear view mirror .. can you help...

Flip the camera?
Mirrors are inverted anyway...

Aim it sideways and add a prism to it. :bigthumb:

But seriously, there should be a "flip image" or something setting or button on the monitor.

retros, can you show us an image of your camera and monitor?

Have you read the manual? Does it offer any advice?

Not gonna work, unfortunately... Mirrors reflect, which essentially shows you what would be seen if you viewed from the perspective of the mirror (when viewing dead-on). You'd need multiple mirrors to invert an image (or clever curved mirrors or whatever trickery), if you wanted to use mirrors for such an effect.

If you wanted to do a pure horizontal inversion via flipping the camera, you'd end up with a front-facing camera.
