Hi there Nico, well my problem right now is that today I got on the freeway and for some reason once hit 40mph, the car began to vibrate. The front brakes are fine, the rear need new brake pads and my right axle has been making a wierd noise for a long time. I have a welded diff and a manual transmission. I was wondering if the problem could be that the diff needs oil? The car doesn't shake when I press the brake so I don't think the brake pads could be causing this. What do you guys think the problem is?

if that axle has been making noise....umm check it?like blown wheel bearing or something. are the tires balanced? Those wheel weights don't take much for them to fly off.

I have a Ford Ranger that shook really bad around 65mph, and the U-Joints were bad. Replaced them, and it drives fine still.

*shrug*?

my 2 cents...

wheel bearing possibly?? as for the welded diff not having enough oil.. it would most likely be causing vibrations at any speed..

i mostly think its the wheel bearing just because when most of them go bad, the first stage of what they do it start to vibrate and make noise at higher speeds; along with u and cv joints..
