Well I'm not in the states but I want to do the same thing. I located a rear valance but it does not have the set up for the license plate nor the reverse light nor the park light. It costs about $13.00 US and has to be repaired.

the rear valance iam talking about most people call a roll pan my collision repair teacher allways told us it was a valance and not a roll pan. Its the panel that can replace the bumper.

From what I can tell, most '80s small pickups came with either a rear valance or a steel bumper; sometimes a combination of the two. The 720s (from what the Nissan tech here told me) came with both, and mine originally had a valance but the previous owner bought a steel bumper for towing. I went to the local Nissan dealership, and they ordered me an OEM rear valance for $40 which was here within a week. Check with your dealership and they should be able to order you one too.

It bolted right into the stock boltholes. Excuse the crappy pictures, the CB whip tail was a joke.

When I got rear ended and the b**** crushed my OEM pan, I was looking for something a little bit custom and Grant Kustoms was able to custom fab me someting for around 160 + shipping.

Yeah they do but the dealer has to order it and here they want $65.00 for it. And to make it worse, you have to collect it yourself. No shipping.

i just email my local dealer sence the dealer ship is 50miles away. Any local nissan dealer can order the valance but not sure on the patch panel but dont see why they couldnt get that. Iam new to theses trucks and still learning a lot but what ive found so far is that a lot of the parts your going to have to deal with the dealers.

Before 83 the lower rear corners were separate to the tray but in 84 or 85 they were made an integral part of the tray.

Probably. Mine is an 85 and it can't come off. From outside there is the seam so it looks like it comes off but it a pressed seam, no lip or bolts.
