I need to remove the steering ends from my rear uprights on my 94 Q45. Anyone know how to do this?? I don't have an Infiniti dealer near me.

I have the uprights removed from the car, but three different machine shops said they couldn't figure out how to remove them since the uprights are aluminum.

Thanks for any help.............

Near is relative. I'm sure that there more than 10 dealerships in FLA, since ATL has 5.It is not uncommon for people to drive 100+ miles to a dealership.

You are not being clear. Are you speaking of the rear HICAS toe arms [ball joint ends] from the rack?

The FSM has a description.

Near is relative when the car isn't driveable. I'm talking about the ends that are in the rear uprights that the rear steering power module attaches to.

I don't have an FSM, so I have no way to reference it, and my closest dealer is 85 miles away.

thanks for the link, but it still has the same information as my AllData I have. it tells me how to remove the power cylinder, but nothing about the ball joint that it attaches to.
