I'm looking to invest in a set of Megan or SPL/KTS coilovers in the very very near future, and I'd like to buy all necessary things in one fell swoop. My question is, is a new set of RUCA's absolutely necessary for a 1.5-2 inch drop on coilovers, or will the stock control arms suffice at that level? Also, which are the cheapest arms of good repute? I've got 1900 to spend and i'd like to have a good chunk left over to go towards Z32 front brakes or an s15 HLSD. Thanks for your time!

the stock eccentric bolts dont correct for crap on any change in suspesion height, i have the Cusco RUCAs purchased through SPL Parts (one of our sponsers) and the problem with suspension pieces is you really get wat you pay for... check spl's website, they have the good stuff

yeah, the stock RUCA's eccentric bolts barely had enough adjustability in them to account for my .5" drop i had with my HKS springs. Any more than that and you'll definitly need an adjustable RUCA. I'm also happy with my cusco units i purchased from spl.

No kidding. My S14 is only moderately lowered with H&R's (1.3") and now I'm dealing with -2.5 rear camber.

PDM Racing sells Whiteline offset bushings that are supposed to correct up to .75 degrees, but I haven't found anyone that has actually tried them. Scroll down towards the bottom:
