Rear trunk emblem needed, please help?

Has anybody ever purchased the rear deck lid Infiniti logo emblem on-line. mine is badly pited and discolored so I would like to replace this asap. I saw the gold emblems that burtman sells but I'm not interested in going gold..

never mind peeps, I looked to the right of this forum an up popped the Infiniti OEM dealer. I bought one for 35 bucks. Does anybody know how to remove the old emblem and install the dealer OEM replacment?

I removed the badges on my MB s500. Just take a hairdryer on a hot day. Then slide it off with dental floss or fishline. Then rewax.

As for putting it on i have no idea

i just asked my buddy he said use double sided 3m tape to put on.

I have never done this so i dont know if it works. BUt the flossing thing for removing, i have tried

Like he said take it off with dental floss....i used the 3m tape also and a little bit off clear silicone adhesive to seal it
