rear torsion bar

will a 90 - 93 rear torsion bar fit on a 96? no fabricating just bolt on?

Are you referring to the traction rod? First arm from the front of the car backward?

If so, yes it will bolt directly on. If there is a variation in length I can not confirm, but they are for sure the same as far as bushing size. I highly down Nissan would have changed the length, however.

....or are you asking about the rear sway bar that's on the Q45t and Q45a models? Since there is a 96 touring model and all of the 90-95 base models have all the mounting holes pre-drilled even though they don't have rear sway bars installed at the factory then I would have to say yes, you can install a bar from any G50 without drilling or modifications.

Are you talking about the torsion bars that hold the trunk up when open?

Or more correctly an anti-sway bar, which is its function.
