hey guys whats up? so i have a 93 altima se and my rear tires are wearing faster than my fronts. it's not due to lack of rotation. i think it may be that my rear brakes may be sticking a little bit but i wanted a second opinion before i jump to conclusions. i appreciate any input and if you need extra info about the car, i would be more than happy to give the info. thanks for any replies! tire size is 205/40/zr17 btw

get an alignment. Toe could be off and you would be pretty much dragging the rear tires. also if it even wear or more left side or right side? Alignment will also correct camber.

that's def a possibility. i'll look into it. they're wearing even on both sides with about the same tread depth. i used to change tires so im pretty knowledgeable in that field, but this was making my head scratch. thanks for the reply tho man :bigthumb:

Do you have extra weight in the trunk? Such as a sub box amps/ anything else? That will cause extra wear as well.

nothing that would make a serious impact. it's mostly empty/ aside from the spare tire. no significant weight in the trunk that would make them wear faster.

Only of thing I can think of is that you have either a different type of tire that just wears faster in the back or they are defective.

these tires came off of my sentra. they wore fine and i didn't put many miles on them at all while they were on that car. when i took them off, they had almost the same tread depth all around. i rotated them as well when they were on my sentra. i'm starting to think as you stated earlier that it could be an alignment issue in the back. i'm getting ready to get some new tires and i'm getting an alignment as well to go with it. hopefully that will fix the issue.
