I'm guessing you have a fastback? I'm not familiar with how the coupe taillights fit into the body.
The sealer I used is butyl rubber made by 3M, an auto dealer or good parts store should have it (ask for Wind-o-Weld if they don't know what butyl rubber is).
Make sure to 1) get acetone while you're there, to get all the old sealant off the taillamp assembly and clean up the mess you will make; and 2) GOOD disposable gloves, butyl rubber is like carcinogenic chewing gum and it will get everywhere. It is a real pain to work with.
When you've put the new sealant on, warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun before you press the taillamps back in, this will help it seal it to the metal body.
