I DONT KNOW IF ANY ONE HAS POSTED ONE OF THESe YET BUT..ok i just wanted to post this for the ka-t guys cuase you guys have been so much help. i know this is cheap but hey it look just as good as geting your light smoked.

okay what you'll need is a sharp papper cuttera 20$ tint pack from wally world. the one i have stick with out 3m spray. just peel and stick.i believe i have limo 20% not sure.will check later to make sure. be sure not to go too dark or your light wont show through that can be hazardous.

before we we begin.I AM NOT REPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CUASE BY THIS MOD DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! please check with your state law and regulations before doing this.

1.ok start by cleaing the tail lights.

[IMG][/IMG]

2. measure out the length of the tail light and cut out a piece of tint.

[IMG][/IMG]

3. wet the surface of the tail light once more. this is require for my type of tinit you might not need this.

[IMG][/IMG]

4. peel a little of the plastice to uncover the adhesive side. dont remove all of the plastic. now stick the adhesive end to one side of the tail light. or if you have a different type the non stick kind spray 3m and apply the tint

[IMG][/IMG]

5. while one side is stuck on pull the other end tight but keep it striaght. the peel the plastice behind the tint slowly and only 1 to 2 inches at a time, pressing down and removeing any bubbles as you go.

[IMG][/IMG]

as you can see the clear plastic behind the tint being peel as i hold the other end tight.

6. okay now that everything is on tight an no bubbles are in the tint

[IMG][/IMG]

7. use the paper cutter to remove excess tint. the tail light should have a tiny little groove that will guid you blade.

[IMG][/IMG]

8 remove the excess. becareful not to pull off to fast or you might take some tint you need off too.

[IMG][/IMG]

9. thank me

jk

9. repeat these steps for all the other parts of the light. or you could do a really big sheet of tint to covver the whole tail light at one time but i found doing small parts of it easier.

10. okay once you tinted the middle part. you have just covered the key hole as well. hmmm how to fix this. well you start buy making a (+) cross in the middle of the key hole

[IMG][/IMG]

11. after that just use your god given hand to neatly press down the sides and cut off the excess!

[IMG][/IMG]

and thats really all that goes into it. feel free to add anything i missed.

here are some pics i didn't post in the instrustions

[IMG][/IMG]

these images were host by image shack so the might dissappear after a while. i tend to see it happend.

enjoy!
