hey got a question

i got my ST sway bars and it comes expecting me to have a rear swaybar already. so i dont have the bolts for the rear swaybar that hold the d-brackets on the frame.

so im gonna have to go to home depot or something to get some

can someone tell me what size/specs on those bolts are?

thanksmax

its likely one of 2 sizes. its either a 8x1.25 thread or a 10x1.25 thread. probably about 1.5 in in length.

ok so i determined that its a 10mm bolt.. not sure if its 1.25 tho r u sure? ill go try a wrench but by hand it only goes in about one thread easily, could be the 10 years of gunk that built up inside tho

Japanese cars use 1.25 pitch thread standard except when it comes to engine to trans bolts and heavy braket bolts to the block.

europe cars use 1.5 pitch threads typically.

ok then its gotta be 10x1.25. cause i ran the 8x1.25 along the thread even tho its small it seemed to thread along the edge nicely.

time to install my rear sway after i buy 3 more of these bolts.

thanks!Max
