I just recently bought my Altima coupe and one thing I'd like to upgrade is its cornering ability. So, I was wondering if anybody has used ONLY the rear sway bar or ONLY the front tower strut? Is there a reason, whether it be for safety or performance, that if I only installed one of these two items where it would be a problem? If not a problem then is there a preference on which offers better cornering ability? Of course, if I need to install both for safety reasons or something I may do that, but I'm not trying to do any major modifications and I was hoping someone could share their experience after installing only one of these items.

I started off with the rear sway bar before I lowered it with springs. It makes a huge difference right away I highly recommend it. The strut bar conbined you won't feel much more of a difference at all unless you take hard turns like if ur at the track

Same here. There's no problem installing just one or the other. I felt a huge difference after the rear sway bar.

Since I'm not going to the track anytime soon, and I don't plan on lowering it, I think I'll start with the rear sway bar and see how that feels. I just traded my RX-8 in for my Altima and I need something that will allow me to handle closer to that experience.

I have the Front bar and it makes a difference, but from what I've heard from everyone else, the rear makes more of a difference. So I'd say rear first, front later.
