Rear Suspension

When cornering moderately hard, i hear a grinding/rubbing sound. The car ('92 240) has 125K miles and most likely original suspension. The rear also feels a little loose when cornering. I recently purchased the car with plans to eventually convert it for weekend racing. How should i tackle the rear suspension? What should i replace and in what order?

best bet is to replace shocks and springs first....i had a pretty rough time with mine with 128k miles. both shocks were gone. then go with the sway bars and new bushings and stuff.
