hello! i noticed that my previous set of rear wheels only had inner tread wear, and with my new tires on, its the same think, the last tread on the outer rear wheels is always dirt free, no markings, etc. while the inner treads are getting worn

could my springs be sagging? how would i tell, and after an alignment?

if the previous owner had the rear set for negative camber, whats the max setting that actually would provide better traction when drifting, cornering, etc. ?

thanks

Your toe is off.

Take it to get an alingment and tell the tech the tires are wearing funny... done and done.

He can probably only get it close since eccentric bolts can only do so much.

^Russell is right.

As far as maximum camber setting, it depends on what tires and suspension setup your are running for maximum grip. Most people seem to like -2 f/r for the street. More would probably help, but you might start having wear problems. If you get adjustable suspension links, you can play with all of this.

thanks guys, well if its toe, and i get it aligned, would it just unalign itself again? is this a way to tell if the rear suspension components are too worn out? but if it's -2 then i might as well leave it......

The rear eccentric bolts are designed to bind into the threads to avoid the nut coming loose and rotating, causing the alignment to go bad.

Sometimes the bolts get stripped though. This happened to me. The locking washer was able to rotate.

i forgot to mention i got RSR springs and KYB shocks, but the rear drop isnt much, but im thinking the lowering of my car changed the alignment, question is, how do i fix it permanently?

Get an alignment.
