2008 Rogue SL.

I changed the shock absorbers to KYB a couple thousand miles ago and I'm still getting clunks from the rear suspension. I've also replaced the sway bar bushings recently. So much of the internet focuses on the front suspension and I've got problems all around.

The clunks come when the leading edge of the rear tires hit a bump. It seems to be on both sides. Any ideas? I'll look for loose bolts/nuts. The exhaust bushings seems ok. Nothing obvious visually.

I was able to get under the car via an oil changing pit. I was pulling down on the car to activate the suspension and heard a noise I'm not quite sure how to describe. It wasn't a clunk, squeak, or groan. I tightened the bolts on my right shock absorber and on the left side sway bar bushing (all the others were good). Kept pulling on the car and kept hearing the noise. I finally tracked it to the right inside upper control arm bushing.

When I called it a day, I couldn't hear the rattling from the back any longer when I was driving, so I guess it was those loose bolts. I guess I'll be needing to do the one control arm before too long though. Any chance that's simply remove the bolts on either end and hose clamp in the middle and pop the new one in?
