Any one experienced this and any fixes? Infiniti says they are part of the subframe assembly so they won't sell them. The problem is this gel leaking is bad, I can't have it leaking all over. Any help is appreciated.

And do you mean collars to compress the existing bushing or replacing the bushing entirely? Wondering if collars would suffice and stop the leaking

it won't stop the leaking, but it fills in the slop left by the gel oozing out. infact, you might actually push out whatever goo is still in the ruptured bushings.
get the z32 collars, they are the same size. i used fr sport in fountain valley ca. they used to be a sponsor of nico.
the flex seal on the lower girdle plate is to keep the poly bushings from clicking/squeeking when the load shifts, particularly on initial breakaway acceleration.
this is a performance restoration fix on the cheap. you can use brake fluid to clean away most of the old goo.

I installed some aluminium Z32 sub-frame spacers some years back. They are still with me.

Hi All:

Don't mean to highjack this thread, but I had a set of these aluminum rear subframe collars I installed and did not like how much it stiffened the rear end of my car -- all stock.

I literally installed them for a weekend and removed them. If the original poster is interested in them, please send me a PM. I have no use for them and would be willing to sell them for a reasonable price. I am located in Chicago.

Thanks!!

Ted

Well I already ordered parts, to be specific I ordered aluminum collars for a Z32.

I will be doing an active suspension conversion to standard monroe shocks and eibach lowering springs. So my ride will dramatically change, hopefully it will be firm but soft.

In addition to shocks I bought Z32 tension rods, front upper link, rear upper links, rear traction bars, and rear toe bars to have full alignment ability with the new ride height. Should be fun

what is the current status of your active system? miles? repair history?
I may be interested in some parts, depending on condition. If any lines have been opened already, then not interested.
