I just put in my audio system. 5 channel amp 1 channel for sub. 4 channels for biamp mode on the type x components in the front and my factory bose amp powers the rear door speakers. Since I have done this my rear sub in the back window does not have any sound at all. Do you think that it would be because i cut the front wires speaker wires to my car and they were tyed in? My rear speakers do work though so I am guessing they would not be tyed in there. Any help would be nice.

Bose is a pain from my understanding..due to nature of factory stereo harness. I don't have an answer but have you checked out maxima.orgthat information should be easy to find there, bypassing factory amp.

I would recommend that you just replace the sub with an afermarket one and power it with your amp. Bypass all the bose headaches
