can you tell me how to R & R my rear struts on 1996 nissan maxima,do i need a spring compressor.please in detail step by step,ive never replaced a strut dj.don

Detailed intructions can be found in the FSM which can be downloaded here - http://www.phatg20.net/index.php?option ... lect&id=28. Look under RA (rear axle). It shouldn't be too hard if you follow those instruction. You will need a spring compressor if you don't want to lose your face, lol. Sorry for the late reply, hope this helps you.
