hmmm? you can get at the struts pretty easily they left lots of clearance in the bulk head. I took mine out from the front. the top motor isn't near them at all.

I dunno maybe it sits lower than ka. either that or maybe they are just differntiating from the ca18, which takes a special strut tower bar to clear (thats my guess). SR bar should fit KA no prob.

I bought a set of strut tower bars for my coupe with ka but then I had to sell the front when I got ca18 and the rear when I swapped it into the convertible. There is no rear strut tower bar that will work with the convertible. Due to the rear bulkhead design I'm not sure it would help much anyway.

Because of the way the verts are designed. You can not fit a rear strut bar. The top motor is not in the way, but other items are. That's the simple version. As far as the front strut bars go, Top_Secret is right. The DC "SR only" strut bar fit on my friend's KA coupe. It was a tight fit, but it cleared the engine both at idle and while it was revved

you asked about rear struts then started talking about strut tower bars... a strut is a piece of your suspension which dampens the motion of th spring. a strut tower bar is a piece of metal going from one strut tower to another to stiffen the body struture. thats why I added that bit. you can get to the rear struts fine and they are easy to change, but you can't fit a strut tower bar in there. a "rear strut" is not a "rear strut tower bar."
