I was replacing the rear struts on my '04 Maxima and sheared an upper mount stud. I know it is a welded part to the frame but can't find access from the top through the trunk. Can someone please give me some insight? Nissan dealers only solution was to replace the whole quarter panel.

On the 4th and 5th gens, the bolts are part of the shock assembly.
