Ok, I was wanting to stiffen up my new s13 fastback and I was wanting to get the 3 piece strut bar set up.

Now I know where the front bar hooks up and how, but the rear........different story. There are aparently TWO bars for the rear.

So I was wondering where they hook up and more importantly would I have to hack up or remove any of my PERFECT interior to install them?? I don't want to mess up such clean prestine interior, if i could make them blend to look factory, then I wouldn't mind, but I don't want to take out or noticably cut a hole in anything.

I apreciate any help and pictures would help even more.

You are talking about the triangulation bar for the rear. The main bar connects to the strut towers like any normal bar would. Then the bars that come down to the center need to be screwed in to the framing back there. If there aren't holes there already(I have an S14) Use some good grade self tapping screws to mount it.

You have to cut into the strut towers. Also, expecting your interior to look stock with a metal rod going through it is rather silly. That's like asking if anyone will notice a roll cage.

I know that it won't look stock, I'm just saying, can it be made less noticable and clean looking instead of looking like someone took a hack saw to it. lol.

But I'm pretty sure that the shorter bar is seperate from the upper bar and not connected, but who know's.

Thanks for the help though, any body got some pics of what it'd look like??
