rear strut bar install

Hey, just curious... and yes i searched.how do you install a rear strut bar. what is involved. do u guys cut the plastic covering in your trunk or remove it completely? can i have some pics?

theres like an outline of what would need to come off...im not sure whether you need to cut it out or whether it comes out.

s13 hatches have a little panel that just pops off... almost like nissan intended to have the car modified

why not just take off the useless plastic stuff??

I completely removed mine and never put it back in. Small things will get lost in the sides of the rear.

Just measure approx where the bracket is and dremel or jigsaw the bad boy out. It's not that hard.

btw i have the coupe. if u remove the plastic it is all out. lol, i guess its best to cut.

wow, its wierd to see a hatch with all the carpet in it and stuff, after having mine stripped for so long. very clean by the way. you even kept the little rubber things on the towers, how cute.

Took me a minute to figure out what people were talking about. I removed the plastic paneling in my trunk (i have a coupe) about a year ago. Geez. Why keep it?
