Rear Strut Already?

Hmm... you know, I think that if I wanted to stiffen things up in the rear, that I would much prefer someone develop a better rear anti-sway bar, than put that ugly bar right through the middle of my cargo area...

yeah, exactly it looks like he just made it himself doubt its been tested.

The key flaw in that bar is where it actually bolts together. I doubt the tolerances on those bolt holes are that close. In order for a strut bar to do it's job it needs to be one solid piece. The problem with the versa is that a rear strut bar that bolts to the top of the struts isn't really doing anything to stiffen the chassis as the rear shocks are mounted on rubber bushings. Eventually (when I get some metal and some time) I plan on designing my own that ties the strut towers together. The only problem with that is that bolt holes will have to be drilled in the towers to actually mount the bar to. I don't really want to weld it straight to my chassis.
