I need to replace the drivers side stop light in my 2009 Nissan Altima. The manual instructs you to remove the fasteners and carefully push back the carpet. Then remove the 2 nuts and pull out the rear combination light. I couldn't find the 2 nuts. Does anyone know their location?

Thanks!

you have to remove those electrical connections that are sort of wedged on the threads. You can just pop them off using a flat head screwdriver. Then once they're off, they require a 9mm rachet to remove the bolts. Once those are off, use the flathead screwdriver to carefully pry up the tail light upwards and then you'll have access to all the lightbulb sockets.
