Maybe a silly question.

I decided to replace all stabilizer bushings. I bought all parts, then started on the front bushings. No problems.

Went to work on the rear stabilizer and jacked up the car. Crawled underneath with parts and tools at hand. Looked up, and NO no stabilizer. No bar. no mounting brackets and no links to the bottom control arms. What's up with that?

I bought the car from a relative who had owned it since it was a year old, and was never in a accident or had any suspension work done.

This is a base model Q45 with standard suspension, so no HICAS. It shows no evidence of a stabilizer ever being fitted, with no marks around the mounting holes. So, for the silly question, does anyone know if the base model q45 even came with a rear stabilizer. I can buy a used setup if necessary.

Your car should have a stabilizer bar. It is located on the forward lower side of the suspension. This is it shown in the 1994 service manual. I've outlined it in red.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yep, that's where I looked when I went to replace the non existent bushings. LOL. Strange that all of its components are missing. Something must have happened to the car during it's 1st year of life when someone had a reason to remove it.

I'll be ordering a replacement.

Thanks again.
