i need to replace mine they wore out i beleive as i bottom out hardcore with a passenger in the back. my bump stops are gone but i shouldnt be hitting them with a single passenger.

with the money i am willing to spend i have two options. replace 10 year old 150,000 mile springs with new ones or get bump stops replaced. looks like same money

where can i buy oem or oem equivalent springs for 2000 q thanks

If the bump stops are gone, you need to replace them. It's easier, and I suspect, cheaper, than springs.

And if the truck isn't sagging the back at rest, you don't need to replace the springs. Springs don't get soft with age, they compress.

Bump stops are 80 bucks. If it still bottoms out cause the springs are weak no point. I am worried of the longevity of the airbag install and just figured replacements springs would have the least point of failure

Again, if it's not sagging at rest, there's no point in replacing the springs. And you haven't complained that it was sagging at rest.

The springs should be measured unloaded, but that requires taking them out, so measuring your height as per the book will give you numbers, meet them, then your OK. The QX4 has weak springs in the back and a single person can make the car bottom out...the only complaint about the car

Its not the warranty I really cared about, the fact that you have to pull them out , send them off, then get new ones and pull everything out again to install is what sucks

I probably wont even bother with sending them back, was never happy with there poor performance
