Does anyone know if the rear spring insulators are necessary for this car or if it just makes a difference sound-wise.
I know that on a lot of American cars they are optional, and some cars don't even come with them, but I know my dad's BMW started having frame issues at the contact points where the insulators were supposed to be.
I don't really mind it being loud as it is a stripped out racecar, but I need to know if I can safely remove them or if they serve a purpose other than comfort.
