Hmm, call a Canadian dealer and have them send you one, or locate one and go on a road trip. I hear Canada is nice this time of year.

Do the authentic G35 spoilers the only ones with brake lights on it? If so, I'd go with that because I like how it lights up the Nissan emblem at night, but that's just me.

I've heard several people say that the coupe looks better without the spoiler, but I've always liked the spoiler effect on a sports coupe.

imo, spoilers just don't look good on the coupe. They just don't flow fluidly with the lines. If I really had to pick, I'd say Stillen's the cleanest.

Why no love for the spoiler being sold by Nissan for the 2010 models?

Image

It mounts just the same, but requires some modification to get the brake light working on 08/09 models, as the connections are different from the previous years.

ive seen the 2010 spoiler in person and it left me confused. i kinda want it. and i figured since my nissan owes me a spoiler tht i would request it, but no joy. they claim there is a defect in the spoiler and they arent allowed to sell them or something... so anyone else hear this before?

Hey guys, I just got my spoiler installed on my AC, its the 2011 one, same thing as the 2010. Personally I feel this is the best one there is for our car because it continues across the hump on both sides and slopes downwards to still give it that hump look. I love the way it looks. I had the car for 3 and a half months now without the spoiler so I have an appreciation for the look of the car without it. When I went to the dealer to get it put in everyone from the GM to the sales manager to the tech who put it on gave it rave reviews. Seems like everyone likes it more then the older nissan spoiler. Ill post some pics of it this evening. I couldn't find any other pics besides the generic one Nissan has on their website.

Hi all, I'm a newbie here and I just leased my 2nd Altima Coupe (2011). I had a 2008 AC coupe 2.5S base model before with plastice rims and no modifications were ever made. I've been quite fond of the new look of the 2010-11 AC and have been quite anxious to turn my '08 in for an '11. The new one I leased did not have a spoiler but I do really really like the look of the factory one. I chose not to get it from the dealer then because it would have added $460 and I wanted to see what other options were available. I found this site offering a "factory style" spoiler prepainted: http://www.myspoiler.com/abs276a-l4.html Any experience with this vender? I hesitate to go this route because I have a lease and I'm not very handy but the price is right. Any Thoughts?

I would suggest purchasing the spoiler of your choice via eBay, just because if there's a manufacturer or vendor problem, PayPal almost always defends the buyer (so there's more for you to win if you get screwed over). Also, I'd suggest just getting an unpainted one because there's a good chance it could get damaged while en route. Since it'd be unpainted, you could take it to a bodyshop of your choice (shop around, go to 2-3+ shops and pick the one with the lowest price and that you felt you could trust) to get it painted and bolted up.

I went with the eBay spoiler from Spoiler Central. Great company to work with and they make an excellent quality spoiler! (Although it didn't come with directions and took my body shop a little longer than expected but they did a great job)

no spoiler is a good spoiler. I like the smoothness of the back. Personally I just hate spoilers after watching fast and furious series.

This is a very helpful thread....particular for those of us who are recently purchased a coupe. Does anyone have any information as to whether or not the OEM G35 spoiler requires any modification to be installed correctly, and where would one purchase the G35 spoiler? :gapteeth:
