rear spoiler question s13

hey guys i tried to remove my stock spoiler the other day but there are 2 weird rubber things holding it down.i already unscrewed all the screws but these wont let it come off.how do i take these off?i will try to post pics soon but,im thinking about just ripping it off,no more nice guy..anyway please let me know what yall did when taking these rubber peices off.thanks

i don't know the condition of your hatch but mine was pretty rusted so i just ripped it off .

Is this for a hatch or a coupe?

On my vert (same as a coupe) I had to take a pry bar and I gently worked the spoiler up and down until the plastic grommets broke and the spoiler popped out. I did have to replace them, but that's fine by me. $15 at Nissan for a set of 6 (2 more than necessary)
