Ok, there's got to be an easier way to remove the rear speakers of a 99 max. My 2 12's blew the surrounds right off the rear speakers and I now have gray thin pieces of styrofoam surrounds all over my trunk! So I need new rear speakers, but it looks like it involves removing the rear seat! I saw a couple threads on some other sites saying that's exactly what you have to do to remove the rear speakers, isn't there an easier way to do this?

Removing the rear seat is something like 4 bolts... it's easy as pie.

ok the bottom of the seat is just two clips that hold it in towards where your feet go. Then from there its one bolt right next to the end of the seat belt on each side. Then in the center hand rest that comes down pull it down and take off the little piece of leather and behind that there is 2 bolts remove that and now you can remove the back part of the seat

question do you have the rear light in the spoiler or on the rear deck
