yes, for a s14 the whole rear carpeted area comes out after you unscrew it. Just snaps right out. then you can get to the speakers.

Four 10mm per speaker. Been there done that. Really easy job. Just make sure you wire your speakers well and ground everything (especially if you're using an amp).

240sx speaker setups innoy me. besides the fact that i do have 4 polk audios sitting in my room, im just way to ****ing lazy to try and get the door panels off. i tried it once but got real aggrivated after awhile. it's like the panel has 0459730 hidden screws. i got quite a few but it wouldnt pull off. PFFFT. the rear speakers are easy though. the fronts suck.

It's not thattt bad. It's actually more of a PITA to get the door panel back on properly than off. I made a diagram for ya though. (Assuming you have an S14)

Red dots=where screws are

Also, once you remove the screw holding the door locks, window opener, storage tray in place- you need to pull this out BEFORE you try to take off the panel. Remove the two sets of wires by pushing the little clips in- and take the whole deal out.

If the door panel seems hard to remove, just pull- not too hard- on the edges and there will be a few brackets that will snap in/out of place. When you're trying to put the door panel back on, just be sure to snap them all back into place. Also, if you're trying to run aftermarket speakers to the space, don't even try to use the stock speaker wires- go to Walmart and get some 16 gauge wire and do it yourself- it's not very hard to do. Drop me a line if you want help!

Yeah, S13 door panels are easy to take off but when you try to snap it back in place all the plastic clips push through the old door panel material and you have to come up with some innovative way to secure it back on there.

When I replaced my rear deck speakers I took a bunch of pictures and did a writeup in the Audio forum. Like someone else said, I would just run new wire. When I put speakers in my girlfriends car I ran new wire to all 4 speakers and it wasn't hard at all (wasn't expensive either.)

I have no idea, I currently run a 500x4 Phoenix Gold amp to my 6 1/2"s.. Bypassed the stock stuff.
